About our home

Situated on the first floor of a small house above an artist studio and behind a typical 1930’s building, protected with a code system.
The flat overlooks westward a private courtyard with plants. The flat has beams and wooden floor in the living area as well as tiles in the kitchen and the shower room.
The door opens onto the main room with a mezzanine bed on the right hand side and in front the kitchen area and the shower room, hidden with sliding doors.

The 20m2 living room has 2 windows and is furnished with a folding table, 2 chairs and 4 folding chairs, a large rug, a large sideboard, a study table, a hifi stereo and a wall built sofa. A ladder leads to a double bed mezzanine. There is also a fireplace.

On the left hand side (window side), sliding doors open onto the kitchen, equipped with a fridge, 2 gas burners, a toaster, a sink and a microwave.

On the right hand side, sliding doors open onto the shower room, equipped with a shower area, a WC and a washbasin

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Located at Lamarck-Caulaincourt, this 28 m² studio is not very far from the peaceful village atmosphere of Montmartre. Climbing up the knoll one finds the famous Sacred Heart Basilica, The Bateau-Lavoir considered to be the birthplace of cubism, Picasso painted the Demoiselles d'Avignon and the nice Place du Tertre with the numerous painters, drawers, and caricaturists. Close to the apartment are the Montmartre’s Town Hall, a daily open-air market Rue du Poteau and Rue Duhesme, and all kinds of shops, restaurants, and bars.

Nearest metro station is Lamarck Caulaincourt (line 12)
