About our home

Our home is a spacious comfortable fully restored old house in a village. The front is on a small square and the back garden is enclosed and secured. It has a spacious kitchen, dining and living rooms, then four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are three different terraces to enjoy the sun or the shade according to your wish. You won't need to worry about the heat as it remains cool inside however hot it is outside.

More about us

We are a party of four: my husband, a project manager and me, a teacher, (in our 40ties) and our daughters(13 and 15). We all love travelling, long walks,discovering new things and eating out. We are quiet people and will take care of your property as if it were ours. This will be our fourth experience in home exchange and we enjoyed our former experiences so much that we are very willing to exchange again. We have two sweet and extremely quiet cats (and three hens + rabbit in garden we can manage to have the last lot taken care of if its a problem). You may use our small but convinient Renault Clio car without any problem as we live in an very rural area and a car is very much needed although buses can take you almost anywhere for a one Euro drive.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our village is a friendly small but lively village (250 inhabitants), there are many possibilities of walks and hiking from our house, there are fishing and swimming spots in the rivers nearby. Pezenas is 4km away, a famous historical town with many restaurants, a great market, many antic shops. We live 30 min drive from the Mediterranean seashore and many touristic resorts. Vibrant Montpellier is 1h drive from us, Spain is 1h, Barcelona 3 hour-drive and then the famous speed train (TGV) can take you to the centre of Paris within 3 or 4 hours (depending on the TGV you choose).
