About our home

You will feel home in our welcoming, warm and cozy, bright house. It offers all amenities and is well suited for a family with children. Located in the exquisite village of Plougastel, a peninsula surrounded by the bay of Brest, the house is at walking distance to shops and local markets.
It has an open kitchen equipped with all appliances, a living room with dining area, 5 bedrooms that can sleep six and two bathrooms.
We have a large terrace overlooking a beautiful, peaceful and flowered garden. In the basement you will find a ping pong table, a tent, bicycles games and TV room with DVD player.
A computer and a laptop with high speed internet and children games are also available.

More about us

We are a well travelled family of six; Antoine is a French Navy Officer who has worked for international organizations in central Europe, New York and in Africa. Marie is a social worker trained in New York. Our children, 2 boys, 2 girls aged from 9 to 14 grew up in the US and would love to visit their friends during vacation.

The plougastel peninsula is a territory between sea and land that displays its various treasures. Whether you appreciate discovering French culture, active holidays or relaxation there will be no shortage of ideas!
This area is blessed with easy and affordable access to the finest sailing waters in Brittany. You will be hiking or riding in the islands Ouessant and Molène edged with a magnificent reef belt and streams, a severe rough and beautiful nature.
In the art of the world's oceans you can embark on an extraordinary trip from the poles to the tropics you will discover about 10,000 animals of thousand different species. Oceanopolis is unique in Europe.
Plougastel has preserved a string of medieval chapels that vibrate during summer of ancient and Celtic music festivals as well as a lot specific activities on the occasion of local celebrations or exhibitions.

The fine art gallery in Brest offers a range of the European paintings from the 16th to the 20th century: Italian, Flemish and French paintings, Pont- Aven School ?
A museum of the Brest history funded by the Gallo-Romans the castle include the national museum of the Navy.
You will find an extensive range of excellent and friendly restaurants and "creperies".
