About our home

We offer a large and charming apartment in the center of Saint-Etienne. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with an elevator. We have 2 bedrooms one with a king size bed, A second one is the boys' room but can also be furnished with a convertible bed. We have one bathroom including a big Italian style shower and a bath-tub. There is a large living room including a convenient opened kitchen. It's a quiet place protected from the noise of the street. It's a typical beginning of the 20th century apartment, with wooden floor.

More about us

We are Nathalie (33 years old) and Xavier (37 years old). We have two sons Sacha 2 years and Oscar 1 year. Nathalie works in sustainable developpement for a retailing company but she took a year off. Xavier is the owner and manager of in internet company (www.cdandlp.com a music market place)so he can work everywhere! Last year we went to Tokyo for 5 months and then Australia for 5 months. We really enjoyed this way of life so we are ready for a new adventure. It's very nice to have time to be with the kids and also take time to discover a place and settle down for a while.
Before the kids we travelled a bit in Canada, US, Thailand, Brazil...
We would love to go back to the US, San Francisco for the winter would be great! We are looking for a long term exchange (between 3 to 6 months).

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Saint-Etienne is a middle size city in the center of France with very nice lanscapes and traditionnal villages all around. It is also ideally located to visit very nice parts of the country. - 15 minutes from the Pilat Natural Parc - 2h40 from Paris with fast train. - 40 minutes from Lyon (2nd city of the country) - 2h from the Alpes for skiing - 3h from the sea (Marseille, Aix en provence ...) - Many very good restaurants all around (max 1h drive) including 3 stars in guide Michelin (Troisgros at Roannes, Bocuse at Lyon, Regis Marcon at Saint-Bonnet le froid, Michel Bras at Laguiole, Anne-Sophie Pic at Valence ...). links: http://www.saint-etienne.fr
