About our home

Old appartment very quiet in Paris. Small bar kitchen. A futon bed in the bedroom. Convertible double bed in the living room. Wood floor in all the appartment.
It is located on the 3th floor in an old but well renovated building (no lift). Perfect for a young couple.

In the eath of Paris (third arrondissement, Le Marais). Very closed to Pompidou - Beaubourg center) and Louvre Museum. Cafes, restaurants, full of attractions in the streets.
Many food shops in the streets around the place, Big shoop center at 5 minutes (Les Halles).
Full internet
Direct line to go to train stations (gare du Nord, gare de l'Est, gare de Lyon, Charle de Gaulle Airport).
3 metro lines to go to Opera, Champs Elysées, Bastille, La Fayette ...)

More about us

Nice couple without any children. We are both working, we love books (many books at home), music, sport and art (many paintings at home).
We like meeting people and discover differents habits and new environement.
Thierry is passionate by wines (he has a cellar with a lot of good French wines).
Claudine likes art and museums.
We are both very respectful with the nature and we like seeing wild animals (or fishes) in they own environement. Traveling is the best way to open the mind.

Neighbourhood

We are a 55' couple, having made a lot of exchanges in a lot of different countries : USA (5: Washington - San Diego - Hawaii - Albuquerque - Arizona) ; Canada (3 : Edmonton - Inwermere - Victoria Island) - Mexico (Playa del Carmen)- Australia (Brisbane and Sydney).
In Paris you do not need a car, many buses, metro and taxis are near our home.
From our home you are at 20 mn (by metro) from Eiffel tower, 15 mn from les Champs Elysees, 30 mn from Montmartre; 5 mn from the river la Seine.
Impossible to describe Paris but a lot of friends (our exchange friends who are coming often to visit us now) are envious of our place.
The appatment is full of French caracter and it is what they enjoyed in it.
And if you want to cross the Manche you are at 3 hours from London by the Eurostar. By train you are at 2 hours from Brugges (in Belgium)...And 3 hours from Marseille.
