About our home

Our holiday home was completed in January 2005 and is furnished with new furniture - offering every comfort for your holiday.

The chalet has three floors; Entrance hall,
Large utility room - great for drying all your ski gear. Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower.

Middle floor; Open plan sitting room with log burner, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. Family Bathroom with shower over the bath.

The top floor has a small double room, a room with three single beds and a toilet.

All bedrooms are carpeted and the other rooms are tiled (with a large rug in the sitting area). Every room has an electric wall heater and the sitting room has a fabulous log burner (logs supplied). In summer the house is very cool with the tiled floors and in winter it is very easy and quick to heat and turn into a cosy haven for your winter wonderland stay.

You will never grow tired of the stunning views from our chalet - winter or summer. The chalet has a tv, dvd and a UK satelite systems for UK TV and radio.

There is a balcony along the front of the chalet and a large covered terrace to the side of the chalet with a picnic table and room for our two garden chairs. In winter - a great place to keep your beers cold and in summer a great outside relaxing and eating space.

There is a space to park your car outside the chalet.

More about us

  1. We are Adrian and Nicky, married with three very well behaved children aged 13, 9 and 3. We have our own business and like to take as much time off as we can to take the family on holiday. We love snowboarding when we are at the French house and camping when we are in the UK. Because the French house is a second home we can be very flexible when it comes to dates of holidays, although we do try to take the majority of our trips during the childrens' school holidays. We would like to visit beach locations or homes complete with pools.

Where is it?

Most of the chalets in the immediate area are holdiay homes but the village itself is VERY French and still very much alive in the non-skiing months. The chalet is 5 minutes drive from the Morillon ski lift and less than 10 minutes drive from the Samoen ski lift.

The nearest airport is Geneva and the chalet is less than an hours drive away.

Apart from the obvious fabulous skiing location, in summer there are lots of activities: mountain biking, walking, and paragliding - the list goes on. There is a man-made lake less than 5 minutes from the chalet which is great for a swim in the summer months. There is also a great pool in the nearby village of Samoens.

Great for eating out - lots of villages within easy reach of the chalet for eating and shopping trips.
