About our home

Our house is a spacious and clean individual house. It has a hall, kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, main bathroom with bath and toilet and laundry on the main floor. Two bedrooms, one with single bed, one with baby bed, small second bathroom with shower and toilet, free playing place with sofa where 2 people can sleep are on the 1st floor.
We have a garage, paved courtyard and garden (350 sqm) with barbecue, terrace and trees.

More about us

We are a family of 5. My wife (Patricia, 35) and I (Sébastien, 35, process engineer) decided to move and discover other cultures in the future for our 3 childens (11, 7 and 3). We will move to Portugal as expats by mid 2009 for several years and want to give our children a picture of the place where we will move.
We look forward to find a nice place close to Lisbon and close to the beach, swimming pool is a must, to give a nice picture to our children.
Our current vacation possibilities are limited so we look for a place from 4th to 19th July. The house exchange can be non simunalteous as our house can be also free in late july and even August. Feel free to contact us if you think your possibilities can match with our wishes.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our house is located in Alsace, in a small village close to Mulhouse (3 km) where direct train connections for Paris (3h), Strasbourg (1h), Swtzerland (Basel 30 mn, Zurich 1h30).
The 3 border region is a special region with very particular architecture with both french and german influence. It is well known for its wine production and local food specialities.
The "Vosge" middle mountains offer a lot of hiking possibilities, including the wine road which can be followed by foot, bike or car. Lot of views and possibility to discover local farmers and typical meals.
