About our home

Our home is more than a hundred years old. It is what we call a provencal mas. It is made of stone. The garden that is very big, is planted of olive trees. We have a quite big pool that is secure according to the French legislation, it is very enjoyable in the summer because it gets very hot and dry. Our terrace is covered so that we usually have our meals outside, protected from the sun. There is also a BBQ outside on the terrace. Inside, the rooms are spacious, and the upstairs ones have recently been renovated. There is a room dedicated to the children's playing that can easily be transformed into a fourth bedroom.

More about us

  1. My husband and I are in our early fourties and we are the happy parents of 9 year old boy triplets. We are both teachers and we enjoy travelling. We have already been to the United States, Canada, Great-Britain, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Caledonia, Sri-Lanka. My husband is a nature lover and spends a lot of time walking in the nearby garrigue. As for me, I enjoy taking care of my family and of my house. I am also keen on reading, studying the anglo-saxon culture and obviously travelling.

Where is it?

We are located in between three of the most important cities in the area among which the roman city of Nimes with its numerous monuments and museums. The city of Uzès is also famous. We are about an hour away from the beach and about as much from the Cévennes mountains. We are at the door of Camargue and its wild white horses and Provence. There are a railway station and an airport in Nimes. Other cities that are within driving distance are Avignon, Saint-Rémi de Provence, Les Baux de Provence or Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.
