About our home

Our house is a chalet which is built since 10 years. At the ground floor, we have the main room (65 m2): it's an open space with the kitchen, the living-room and sitting room with TV and fire-place; we specially enjoy this place during cold days. Our room is on the same floor with a shower and a wash-basin. The 3 children's room are on the floor with the bathroom. Each floor have a WC. In the basement, a room, serves us of office and guest room. During the summer, since the kitchen we go to eat on the terrace, where we can profite of the view and sun.
This summer, 2011, a heated swimming pool is going to liven up the garden. Our piece of land have tree and many exterior's games for children: swing, children's slide,swimming pool, trampoline, purpose of foot and for parents, we have comfortable beach chair.

More about us

We are married with 3 children. Christophe 46years old (cable car's technicien), Blandine 40 years old (speech therapist), Thomas 15, Martin 14, Clara 9. It's the first time we exchange our house, but we enjoy discovering other culture, country, people and wild space where we like walking. We enjoy in France climing, skiing, swimming all outdoors activities. We would like to prepare our trip definitely beforehand to make ample acquaintance with the other family by e-mail and to see so how making easier their stay in France.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We live in a small village close to Annecy (25 kms) Geneva (70kms) and Chamonix (90kms). We live in the middle of mountains. We have view on a summit of 2100 m of altitude and are encircled with forests and with mountains. We use walking in mountains but also swimming in the Lake of Annecy (20kms) from June until September. Our area is a very touristic place where we can found a lot of activities and attractiv place: like Chamonix with Mt Blanc, top of Europ... If you want, you would discover our culinary specialities.
