About our home

It's a two storey large house, with high ceilings and a lot of windows and light coming in, rather old looking with a very nice garden. The living and dining room are one large room and the kitchen is large too ( sitting 4). There are 5 bedrooms and a study with a sofa (sleeps 2). The house is very bright, furnished in a rather ancient style. All commodities are provided . Relatives are living nearby and can provide any necessary help or advices about the whereabouts and the visiting places. We have a young dog, which can be looked after by somebody else if necessary.

More about us

  1. We are Sophie and Bertrand, a married couple with 2 girl teenagers, 20 and 17 and 1 smaller girl of 14. This year we will only be travelling with the 2 youngest. We are both professionals (engineer in a german company and food consultant). We have done 3 home exchanges before and are keen to try to travel abroad with our kids, which we haven't had the opportunity to do yet as our children were too young. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in France. Our hobbies are cooking, gardening and decorating our house. We are Non-smokers and very respectful of other people's properties. We expect the same in return.

Where is it?

The town of Sèvres offers easy access to Paris center (metro station Pont de Sèvres 10 min walk or 2 bus stops) and to Versailles (direct bus line). The parc de St Cloud entrance is 200 m from the house. It's the ideal place for visiting Paris without being stressed by the town bustle. The town swimming pool is very close too. The whole area is very quiet in summer.Lots of trees and house with lovely gardens around.3 big shopping centers nearby (Velizy, La Défense and Boulogne) as well as the famous department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette in the center of Paris (20 minutes by Métro).
