About our home
The house is set in the middle of a small village (Sorrus) near Montreuil Sur Mer. Has a large garden and everything you need for a family holiday.
This house is usually rented out during peak periods See details by visiting: See the Homepage.
It is only possible to exchange my second home when it is outside of these peek times 1st JulyâAugust 31. There will also be a charge of 200 euros for heating and cleaning.

I am semi retired graphic designer/painter. Once married (wife died of MS a few years back). I moved here recently from London to be near my son and his wife and two grand children, (Max and Luca) they live only a few minutes away.
I was in Publishing all my life. I also have a second house in Northern France (sorrus), which is also available for exchange (see below).
I am now involved in Painting, (I have a group exhibition in London in October this year). Property developement, Voluntery work and also run courses in painting at my house in France occasionally.
I would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know you via email first to see how best we can facilitate your stay in the UK.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Very Quite and safe area. Not far from a the medieval town of Montreuil sur mer which has some superb retaurants and things to see. Walk around the wall city with wonderful views. Their is a nice little family run Auberge in the village. and large Champion store 3 min drive away. The long sandy beaches are only 15 Min drive from the house. There are lots of places to visit.

It takes 2 hours from My apartment in Apsley to Dover by car and 55 minutes by Speedferies from Dover-England to Boulogne-France and then a further 35 minutes to get to the house in Sorrus-France.
The "Some" (place of 1st world war battle) of is only about 1 hour drive south.
