“We spent three weeks in the house just behind the church in La Farlède, a small town some 5 km north of Toulon. The house fitted our family of two adults and two teenagers perfectly. We all had enough space and all necessary shops were at walking distance. We loved staying close to practically everything and live in a genuine french small town without the frenzy of a tourist spot. People are friendly and helpful, although few could speak more than french. Just 20 minutes away you have the beaches of the Mediterranean in Toulon or in the lovely small touristic town of Hyère. We also appreciated the short distance to charming provencal villages and towns in the mountains to the north. In three weeks we toured from Nice to Camargue. It was the first time we exchanged houses, but it will certainly not be the last! Thank you, Corinne and Tim!”
