Our stunning 120m² appartment is located on the 7th floor (with elevator) of a nice building nearToulouse city centre.
We bought it two years ago and it has been completely renovated. With french windows across the dining room / living room area, it is a spacious and very light appartment.
The 60m² balcony will allow you enjoy great views over Toulouse city centre as well as stunning sights of sunsets with the Pyrénées Mountains in the background. You will also be able to enjoy some outdoor cooking with a very practical spanish-style grill "Plancha".
The appartment is very functional, with a well equipped modern kitchen (with grill, freezer, fridge, microwave, dish washer, oven, and a nice little espresso coffee machine), a spacious dining room / living room area (with a large table, two sofas, a flat screen TV) and three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and it's own ensuite bathroom with a nice walk-in shower. Both other bedrooms have double beds and French windows opening on-to the balcony.
Our flat is located in the 'Bonnefoy' area of Toulouse, which is a 5 min bus ride (15 min walk) from the very centre of Toulouse.. It's an old but lively neighbourhood where you will find all the shops you need (the supermarket is literally just outside the building!).
Toulouse is the capital of 'Occitanie', the south west region of France. One of the biggest aeronautics hubs in Europe (where the Concorde and Airbus A380 habe been built) and with many Universities, Toulouse is considered one of the most dynamic French cities.
During the day, you will be able to go sight-seeing or shopping in the many lively streets of Toulouse. You will also discover its tipical red-bricks building. Many museums will welcome you, and you will enjoy nice strolls along the Garonne river and 'Midi' canal, recognised world heritage by UNESCO.
At night, Toulouse 'wakes up' and becomes a place where you can enjoy many Theatre and cabaret shows, as well as operas, casinos and night clubs.
Toulouse is also famous for its 'south west' gastronomy, with foie gras, cassoulet and great regional wines like Gaillac or Fronton.
Toulouse is also perfectly located in south west of France, only a 2 hour drive from the Pyrenees Mountains, a 3 hour drive to the Mediteranean sea or a 3 hour drive from the Atlantic Ocean and the wonderful French Basque Country. The great wine tasting Bordeaux is only a two hour train journey away. Just outise Toulouse, you will also find many old tipical towns like Albi or the 'Cité de Carcossonne', the biggest midieval castlle in Europe, also world heritage.
We truly think that you will have an amazing time here!
