About our home

Our home is on old-typical-Loire Valley house
recently restored. At the ground floor, it has a
kitchen, a cosy living & dining room which opens
on the garden. The garden is very pleasant on
summertime, with its pear trees, surrounded by
other gardens.
There are 2 bedrooms (1 big + 1 small) & bath-room at 1st floor, & a shiny, spacious room on top incl a 2nd bathroom.

More about us

  1. Let me present the 3 members of our family:
    Sébastien, 37, Rose-Marie, our 10 months
daughter, and I, Stéphanie, 33. My husband & I are both agronomists; he works in the seed sector & myself in the wine sector. We both love travelling, hiking, discovering new countries. Our baby is too young to allow us to travel far with backpacks as we used to do, so we decided to exchange house this year! A very good compromise to visit a country we don't know with a lot of comfort.

Where is it?

The house is located a very quite area in
the center of Tours - medium size city,
on the Loire valley, Unesco site, where you can
visit the famous Castles (Amboise, Chenonceaux, etc.), but also the vineyards from Anjou-Touraine, or simply enjoy the nature.
The town itself is very beautiful with a lot of
architecture from the past.
Tours is only 1 hour from Paris by train (TGV)which makes it easy for a 1 day trip.
