A beautiful home with lots of space and fantastic interior design and furniture and very comfortable. In a great location in a quiet village but easy access to the city and the great beaches!!! “We had our best exchange to date at Georges and Valerie's amazing home (this is our 5th). The house is spacious and beautifully designed and decorated, with plenty of outdoor space (Valerie is a very talented artist and interior designer). We cooked most nights on the grill, while enjoying the cool Southern France breeze. Their home is in the center of a small village with a great bakery right down the road. The village is about 15 minutes to the center of Montpellier and the closet beach is about 20 minutes (with many more under 45 minutes away). The private beaches of La Grande Motte are a must! There are several grocery stores just a few minutes by car and a great farm stand as well. The location is perfect for exploring the Languedoc-Roussillon and all of it's beauty but also just right for staying close to home and relaxing. We did a little of both! You will not be disappointed. Oh! If you happen to exchange the last to weeks in July, there is an amazing bull festival, right in their village, that was an unforgettable experience. My 7 year old is still talking about it. No worries, baby cows only!”
Where is it?
Neighbourhood is friendly and quiet. Montpellier is a historical city with beautifull architecture from the 18th century and pedestrian center filled with art galleries and shops. Frejorgues airport and beaches are 20 minutes from the house by car. From an hour drive also, you can reach Avignon, Arles, Uzès, and the Camargue a really unique place in Europe. The mediterranean coast is easy to discover even up to Spain (Barcelona 3 hours drive) and French Riviera (Cannes, Juan les Pins, St Tropez from 3 hours drive).
