About our home
Our home was constructed in 1853 and boasts most of its original features. You do feel as if you have stepped into a romantic novel from the period. The house was built on four levels which includes three reception rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous entrance, a wine cellar with vaulted ceilings and basement (our laundry room), with large bedrooms and bathrooms on the two upper floors. The house is located only 45 minutes from Paris center with the train station just three blocks away.

Vernon is the first town in Normandy when leaving Paris'Ile de France Region. Giverny, made famous by Claude Monet, Le Roche Guyon castle, famously occupied during WWII, and Rouen along with Deauville and Honfleur, are all easily accessible from the town.
We are conveniently located next to the town center. In five minutes you will find yourself browsing clothes and antique shops and picking up provisions in one of three supermarkets. This is a calm area which is convenient for reaching all points of Northern France, Brittany and even to the British Isles.
