About our home

Our home is spacious, and furnished with both country items and souvenirs from our foreign travels. It offers 5 bedrooms which are all equipped with queen beds . On the ground floor, the large kitchen and the two lounges have beamed ceilings and open on the terrace and the garden. On the first floor are three bedrooms, one of the two bathrooms and our study with lots of French and English books. There are two more bedrooms on the second floor. All bedrooms overlook the nice countryside and the hills around us. The place is very quiet. Spring and summer evenings are very pleasant, enjoying the two terraces, the BBQ and the swimming-pool whereas we spend winter evenings by the fireplace. If you choose our home, you will meet our two cats who hate travelling and stay home during our holidays.

More about us

  1. We are a happy family of five. Michel, my husband is an Air France pilot and I'm a English teacher in high school in Lyon. We have three children from 24 to 17and we enjoy travelling a lot, with our children or friends or by ourselves. In 2017, We'd like to spend a week in New York city by the end of August, we'll be 9 people travelling together so this must be a big place, but we can lend our house for a longer period. In april we'd like to stay a week in Venezia during the second part of the month. Anyway, we're open to all propositions. we've already done two exchanges in the US and in Canada.

Neighbourhood

Despite its rural neighborhood, our village is 30 kilometers from Lyon and one hour drive from the Alps. You can reach Paris within a two-hour TGV trip and the French Riviera is at a 4-hour drive. The immediate surroundings allow hiking, fishing, mountain biking, horse-riding...
