The Dining/Sitting room has a woodburner, sofa armchair, CD/ Turntable old vinyls, Dining table/chairs which sits 12 - breakfast balcony seats, it is 10 steps to garden.
The TV room has sofa, games, videos, TV/video basic sky-with a door to the balcony & garden.
The Manor has a magnificent main Bedroom with a huge fireplace with a beamed ceiling, four poster bed, sofa, chairs, drawers, wardrobe and with a bath/shower, basin off and seperate WC. The Ground Floor East End has a double bedroom lower level, with its own WC and basin and door to garden. The Ground Floor West End has a twin/double bedroom, Wardrobe, Dressing table, rocking chair, drawers, bedside table, lamps and bookcase. There is also a twin bedded room, wardrobe, drawers, dressing table, lamps, chair and door to garden. The hallway has a spare single bed. There is also a main bathroom with bath & shower, basin and WC.
The cellar contains a washing machine. The poolhouse has a sink, outdoor shower, BBQ, table & chairs. There is a Boule pitch, table tennis table, sunbeds, parasols and unspoilt southerly views.
The nearest Town is Villereal - 5km. There are many bastide and mediaeval towns and villages within half hour including Bergerac. St. Emilion - 1 hour Villeneuve sur Lot- 45 minutes
The entire area is magically steeped in history with its chateaux, churches, vineyards, caves and with so little traffic sightseeing is a real pleasure. The imposing chateau de Biron is an exciting place to visit and the children will love the nearby Adventure Park.
5 min drive from Le Malbosc is the beautiful bastide town of Villereal. Easy parking (except market days) it boasts 2 supermarkets, 2 butchers, 2 bakers, 4 hairdressers, 2 banks, tourist office, many restaurants to suit all tastes. Market Day is Saturday (Wednesdays as well in summer) which is a must. A typical Saturday morning is to go to the market, enjoy all the interesting and mouthwatering goods,have a pastis or whatever at the Bar Moderne (they do an excellent Plat du Jour, but busy on Saturdays) then perhaps buy a barbequed chicken, quail or duck or some paella to take home to eat in the comfort of your own garden.
This is Utopia for the gourmet - opportunities to buy seriously good wines or good plonk. Wonderful chateaux and vineyards to visit. Chateaux Monbazillac just 20 minutes away. Markets are flowing with local grown vegetables, fruit, oysters - you name it it's there. There are many restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. Sunday market at Issigeac (20 mins away) is a must - beautiful mediaeval town with such an amazing ambience. There is canoeing on the Dordogne, or for the less active take a boat, visit the wonderful chateaux along the river, also the numerous caves, beautiful gardens, the wonderful old churches which proudly dominate every town and village.
There are so many unbelievably beautiful bastide and mediaeval towns and villages within 45 min. of the Farmhouse - Monflanquin, Monpazier, Castillones, Beaumont, Cadouin, Belves, Issigeac, Bergerac (old town divine - and good for those seeking a little retail therapy!) St. Emilion - the wine buff's paradise!
