“Our stay in Lyon and its surroundings could not have been more interesting, enjoyed its monuments and good restaurants. The apartment was modern, very comfortable, tidy and well communicated by public transport with the city center. The owners could not be nicer and did their utmost for a warm welcome making us feel like at home. We highly recommend the apartment as well as a holiday in this beautiful city.”

Where is it?
Villeurbanne is muli cultural area where you can meet young or old people.
Down the building, you will find 2 bakeries, 1 grocery store, 1 pharmacy, doctors and nurses.
Close to the apartment there is a supermarket. You will also find there a post office, banks (you can go there by car or walking).
Every wednesday and saturday, you will find a typical "french marché" where to buy fresh vegetables or fruits + clothes
COME TO VISIT LYON AND THE AREA ! (One of the most well known in France)
Lyon is a city in the Rhône-Alpes region, situated between Paris and Marseille (2 hours far from Paris by speed train)

Lyon has a long cultural influence on France and the world. The city is known for its historical and architectural landmarks and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lyon was historically known as an important area for the production and weaving of silk and in modern times has developed a reputation as the capital of gastronomy in France. It has a significant role in the history of cinema due to Auguste and Louis Lumière. The local professional football team, Olympique Lyonnais, has increased the profile of Lyon internationally through participation in European football championships.
For several centuries Lyon has been known as the French capital of gastronomy, due, in part, to the presence of many of France's finest chefs in the city and its surroundings (e.g. Paul Bocuse). This reputation also comes from the fact that 3 of France's best known wine-growing regions are located near Lyon: the Beaujolais and burgundty at the North, and the Côtes du Rhône at the South. the wine from Burgundy or Beaujolais are very popular in Lyon and remain one of the best wines served with local dishes.
THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO SEE IN LYON AND ITS AREA DUE TO THE RICH HISTORY OF THE CITY WITH SPOTS FROM THE ANTIQUITY (many roman ruins ...) UNTIL THE 19TH CENTURY (Basilica of notre dame de Fourvière)
