About our home

One bedroom 6th floor garret workshop apartment in the oldest part of Tbilisi, Georgia, right in the heart of the city and walking distance to the Old City. It is 152 square metres (1,636 square feet).

The entrance leads to the open area with kitchen and living room. The kitchen is newly renovated and has a hotplate and microwave. The separate bedroom has a double bed. Also one sofa bed could sleep an extra person. There are two small balconies: the bedroom balcony looks toward the town hall, cable car, and the hills, and the living room balcony looks toward the funicular, Mtatsminda Park and St. David's Church (which you can see from the kitchen window). The bathroom is newly renovated with a shower cabin (with spa jets). A front-loading washing machine is in the spacious bathroom.

The apartment complex is next to Marriott Courtyard Hotel at Freedom Square (also called Liberty Square).

The apartment is light, bright, spacious and airy. It is on the 6th floor with an elevator to the 5th floor, then walk up one flight (11 steps, a landing, then another 11 steps). Because it is on the top floor and the end apartment, there is no foot traffic, except for the person who lives next door.

I am flexible and can do simultaneous and non-simultaneous swaps, and rent.

Georgia is a small country of less than 4 million people, next to Russia, Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. Georgia has a fascinating culture with much to see and do - from mountains to sea. The Tbilisi Opera House has been refurbished and has now re-opened, and there are many other cultural events and activities. Enjoy the famous wine of Georgia, the food, the people, the ski-ing, the hiking, the mountaineering, the dancing, and the feasting.

Please note: My apartment in Canberra, Australia, is no longer listed.
