our apt is in the aldstadt (old town) in mainz,it is very handy and a few minutes walk to the middle of mainz,close to the Rhine river where boat trips can be taken on the the riverwhich is also great for cycling and walking,there are many places of interest in mainz itself,including the Dome,the Chargall windows,guttenburg press,roman museum and of course it is the home of the biggest wine region in germany,so plenty to do.
transport is nearby so travelling is convienient,mainz also has a well known market 3 days a week where fresh produce can be bought,a great atmosphere and a good place to have breakfast on Saturday,with a glass of wine of course!
We are retired cabin crew who still enjoy travelling,we enjoy experiencing other cultures especially the food and music,we enjoy our home and appreciate that home swapper feel the same,all care taken.
