About our home

My comfortable apartment has everything one needs to feel at home. Especially the airy living-room invites you to relax. Also spend some time on my beautiful balcony and watch the squirrels play in the trees.

More about us

  1. I am a highschool teacher in my early 40s and I usually travel with my friend Anja. We have done several exchanges before and our exchange partners were all more than happy with what Bad Homburg and our area have to offer.
We would like to travel within Europe in the summer holidays, preferably to the more sunny areas in the south. California is on our tavel list, too. Over Christmas and New Year's we'd love to enjoy the sun of the southern hemisphere. If you prefer travelling another time of the year, we might find a way to arrange a non-simultaneous exchange, too. We are looking forward to new experiences, so surprise us with your offer.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Bad Homburg is a picturesque town close to Frankfurt which offers a sophisticated level of living, dining and shopping. The huge park, the castle, the day spa, the casino or the shopping promenade are inviting to explore the town.
As the train station is only a 5 minute walk from my apartment, Frankfurt with its international airport and metropolitan flair is only a stone's throw away. Here you can enjoy the nightlife as well as museums, galleries, shopping centres and restaurants. If you are interested in literature and history, just follow the tracks of Goethe or the Brothers Grimm, who were born in Frankfurt.
Also cities like Cologne or Heidelberg are just a 1-2 hour trip. Even Paris/France is just a three-hour train ride away.
If you enjoy hiking or mountain biking, the low mountain range Taunus, which is just around the corner, offers multiple possibilities.
