About our home

Our house is built in a typical hanseatic style, as Lübeck and Hamburg are Hanseatic Towns. It is 125 m2, comfortable and inviting, built in 2000.
It is about 40 km to Hamburg City and 60 km to Lübeck. The living-room is connected with the kitchen. The living-room is with a view on a sunny terrace. There you find garden chairs and a barbecue. The garden is about 500 m2. The bikes you find in our garage. Of course you can use them for biking tours.
We have one bedroom with a double bed and a study with a sofa where two people can sleep. Downstairs is a guest-WC and upstairs, close to the bedroom is the bathroom with shower, WC and bath-tub.

More about us

  1. My husband and me live here since April 2012. We lived in Lübeck before. Every year we also spend some weeks in our second home in Bavaria.
We are both professionals, teacher and technician and we love to travel whenever we have the possibility. We already made some home exchanges in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and it were always very good experiences (Italy, Suisse, France). We like to get to know a lot of interesting people and new countries. We live here with our 2 dogs, which are for us like family members. Mostly we would like to take the dogs with us, when we travel.

Where is it?

We live very quiet in a small village at the Elbe.
But we work in Hamburg and Lübeck both cities you can reach easily by car or by train. Of course Hamburg is a big and lively town and you can't see everything in 1 day.
Lübeck is a famous touristic city in the north of Germany near the beach. It is also the city of Nobel Prize Winners. It has a very special medieval ambiance and is enclosed by rivers and canals. The sandy beach in the Lübeck Bay is a true paradise for sailors and bathers and of course for family with children. If you prefer a homeexchange with our second home in Germany Bavaria have a look at my Homepage.
It is a typical Bavarian house (116 m2)very close to the Alpes.
