About our home

We are open for shortterm offers for longer weekends also up to one week. Our house is wonderfully located in a preferred area of the culturally rich city of Bayreuth in Bavaria. The house is a prestigious three story building from 1904 and completely renovated. In the 1st floor is our own practice for speech-therapy. The 2nd and 3rd floor with a total of 275 m2 is for exchange. This includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, 2 toilettes, a study and library room, kitchen, living room and a dining room. In the middle of high ceilings, stuccos you feel the luxury of living in former times. The house encounters a wonderful garden with different terraces. To walk through our house see the photo gallery. The house is very central. Through a very nice park you can walk in five minutes to the downtown walking area and most of the museums as for example the Villa Wahnfried (house of Richard Wagner, the Liszt Museum (the house where Franz Liszt was living in old age), the New Castle. Bayreuth is very central in the middle of Europe, and a lot of interesting places can be reached conviently by train or car. For example Bamberg (40 minutes), Nuremberg (1 hour), Munich (2 hours), Dresden (2.5 hours) Prague (3 hours) and Berlin (4 hours. The assistance of a housekeeper and/or a cleaning lady can be arranged. They take also care of our four cats.
