About our home

Our 65 sqm apartment has two rooms - one combined living- and bedroom with a double bed and a kid's room with a regular sized bed (90x200m) The apartment is light, and has old wooden floors and high ceilings. There is space to sleep for at least 3 people, with an additional comfortable airbed for another 1-2 persons.
The bathroom has a tub. The kitchen is small, but well equipped (we love to cook :-)) and we have a dishwasher. The apartment is in the rear building, so it is very quiet. We will leave two bikes, both equipped with a kid's seat. We have young, and very nice neighbors who are willing to help when needed.

More about us

  1. We are a young family of three. Alex and me, Fenke, both have a background in product design and are interested in culture and good food. Noa, our son (almost four) is still developing these interests ;-) As much as we love to live in Berlin, sometimes we just crave for some quiet days away from the city... Do you live in a small rural place with a garden? Or anywhere in a city near the sea, a lake or river? Your town offers regional culinary specialties (vegetarian, I forgot to mention...)? Then we are happy to hear from you!

Neighbourhood

The apartment is situated in Berlin-Kreuzberg, close to Bergmannstrasse. It is a lovely neighborhood filled with small shops and cafes. The canal is in walking distance, as are several U-Bahn stations. Some museums (Technikmuseum, Jüdisches Museum) are very close by. The area is great for families! Nice playgrounds and parks are around every corner. However - if you come without kids, many nice bars and clubs make Kreuzberg the most popular district in Berlin.
