About our home

Spacious light airy 4th floor walk up apartment In the loveliest part of Berlin Mitte. views from the terasse over the park to the Dom and Fersehturm and 5 minutes walk to the Museum Island . Quiet and amazingly calm given it's location and offers everything you would wish to do as a visitor to the city.

More about us

We are two musicians (English and Australian) with two small boys (7 and 10)We have already exchanged in Australia twice,twice in the UK and in Montreal and have so far found the experience really rewarding.
Mountains,lakes, the Sea and interesting cities all appeal to us. Although we are great at getting around without a car (we have never driven) we can't go too wild without public transport or a bike (our feet do serve us well though..)

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We love our neighborhood! Having been here for 10 years we still experience the thrill of being here. Walking distance to almost all cultural attractions: Museum Island, synogogue on oranienburgerstrasse, Unter den Linden, Brandenburg Gate, Tiergarten, The Reichstag, Fernsehturm and Alexander Platz, Staatsoper, Konzerthaus and Philharmonie, Berliner Ensemble, Volkbuhne, galleries, galleries, etc.
The Scheunenviertel is one of the oldest and most beautiful parts of Berlin. It also serves as the location for Berlin's contemporary arts scene and is packed with fashionable boutiques, restaurants and cafes.
Our building has it's own entrance to a wonderful park, a real rarity in Berlin and particularly good for anyone with children .
The list of highlights is actually huge but further attractions on the doorstep are Monbijou park, and the children's open air pool ,openair theatres and bars.you can also take a boat up the river ..
