About our home

We use this flat for our family one or two months a year and normally rent it for the remaining period. So there's plenty of space for personal belongings. The apt. is on the third floor (no lift) of a building right at the corner of the park. We reccomend keeping quiet after 10 p.m. since our neighbours are very strict on house rules. The small terrace enjoys a view of the park. Two or three people can sleep in the bedroom. Alternatively, two people in the bedroom and one or two in the living room. We wish to limit the maximum number of guests to four. The Kitchen is fully funrished. Towels and linen provided. Washing machine, iron, everything you might need. Free wifi. It is quite easy to find a free parking under the house, but you wouldn't need a car in the heart of Berlin. Urban bus M29 which crosses the whole town from East to West (stops include Checkpoint Charlie and Kurfursterdamm) right at the corner. Urban train and metro network ten minutes on foot. Up to now we have been renting the flat on BNB with an average of 4,5 on five stars.

Neighbourhood

Kreuzberg is one of the most lively quarters in Berlin. You will find many restaurants and bars in walking distance. Supermarkets very close, a little one just at the corner and bigger ones in less than ten minutes walk. We are very close to the Landwerks Kanal, a very beautiful walk. Enjoy the turkish market on the Kanal by the Maybachufer on Tuesdays and Fridays ( It's one of the best and cheapest places to buy fresh food). Urban double decked M29 bus connects our house to the metro network (in five minutes U7 and U8) and to some of the most popular touristic attractions such as the Check point Charlie and the Kurfurstendamm. The urban-train/metro network is also easily reached on foot at the Gorlitzer Station where you can get the S1 to reach Friedrichshein on one side and the rest of the city on the other. Don't miss the brunch at Marx's at the end of Wiener str. where you can also enjoy a very nice public swimming pool. Two or three bike rentals also close to the house. Average price is 10 euros a day. The apt. is very easily reached from the airport, expecially if you land in Schonefeld. Enjoy!!
