About our home

Our home is comfortable, clean, and perfect for 2 people in the center of Berlin. It has a medium sized kitchen with a small marble breakfast table. The lounge has a lovely large comfortable sofa and a dining table with a large TV monitor which is also one of the many computers within the apartment. The balcony overlooks a large area of tree s and plants. We live on the 3rd floor (no lift sorry). I have a small office which includes a cross trainer and my husband has a large work room which can also be converted into a 2nd bedroom/office. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and another large TV. The general decor theme is animal, leopard/tiger/zebra. Not suitable for children or real animals :-) One bathroom and the guest toilet is also the laundry.

More about us

My name is Jayney and my husband is called Urs. I am an Australian in my late 40 s which has been living in Berlin for 25 years. I write music, lyrics and perform on stage when ever possible. Urs is German in his early 40 s and is a music software developer. We love to travel and I come home yealy to Melbourne. This time we would like to stay for at least 4 months and if this idea works out then we will be doing the same every year.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Ideally located as a touring base, our area offers easy access to both the city centers, airports and the main train stations. 8 minute bus ride to the Zoo or west city center and a 10 minute walk down the channel to the beutiful Charlottenburg castle. We live in a private street which one needs a key to enter so parking is not a problem. Our area is perfect for those who want to have a base in Europe and travel.Suitable for artists.
