About our home

You find our flat on the 3rd floor of an old house, built around 1900. Our apartment is spacious, cosy and clean. We have three big rooms with typical high ceilings with nice mouldings and a wooden parquet floor. We have a nice balcony, where you may have breakfast or enjoy dinner. Our flat is well equipped as you may read in the description above. Our neighbours are quiet and friendly.

More about us

  1. We are Lisa(38) and Michael(37), german and sports-teacher in high-school and architect, and we live here with our seven months old daughter Martha. Life has changed a lot due to Martha, and we are still a little confused, but on the whole, we like it !! We are looking forward to an interesting holiday in may and we are happy to be able to invite you to Berlin, which is a very exciting and nice city, where you can both relax and experience a lot! We would recommend visiting the famous museums of Berlin, such as Nationalgalerie, Bode-Museum or Pergamon-Museum.
We are two of the seldom "born-berliners" and we love our city a lot and will give you good advices for a both relaxing and "intellectually challenging" stay!!

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

You find our flat in Charlottenburg, which is a very famous, vivid and nice district. You´ll find many good restaurants, cafes, bars and art-galleries very close to our home. Niebuhrstraße is a small side street not far from Kurfürstendamm. Several S- and U-train-stations are reached by foot. The nearby Lietzensee is a small lake, which invites to a walk in the park on a warm summer evening. Schloss Charlottenburg, Schloss Bellevue, the Zoo are only a few famous sights you can visit in Charlottenburg. There is also a very nice pool only a few S-train-stations away from our home. Last but not least you find nice little shops in Charlottenburg, antique furniture and modern stuff, but also supermarkets and veggie-shops, bio and non-bio.
Important to mention is also that our home is located very much in the centre: it takes only 15 minutes to go to Hackescher Markt, Hauptbahnhof or Alexanderplatz. Within 30 minutes you reach Friedrichshain.
