About our home

Modern flat in the center of Berlin with a large combined kitchen/living room, 4 bedrooms (one with a queen size bed, two with bunk beds and one with a sofa bed), an additional study and a climbing wall/swing for children. Three bedrooms sleeping five people face the garden and are very quiet; the fourth room faces the street and is quiet if the window is closed. We can also provide extra mattresses. The flat has 2 bathrooms, 3 balconies, wooden floors, a lot of sun and an elevator.

The flat is partially wheel-chair friendly: no steps to get in but none of the installations (toilets, kitchen, ...) have been designed for people with special needs.

More about us

We are a family with three children (6, 8, 11) and love to travel around the world. We have done one home exchange with a family in France and that was a wonderful experience.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The flat is in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, one of the most sought after areas in the city and very central. Within walking distance are bars, cafes, parks, markets, restaurants and many small shops and boutiques. Berlin has countless museums from art over history to science and technology and a very vibrant night life. Several trams pass close by and Alexanderplatz, a major transportation hub and site of the iconic TV-tower, is only a few stations away. There are two supermarkets half a street away from the flat.
