“The preparation of our exchange was precise and detailed - we were 9 persons, so it was necessary to be sure that everybody found his place. The "guest-apartment" of this co-ownership made it possible, as well ads the very open mind and constructive approach of Katrin and Bernd. We found a very bright, modern, functional and spacious apartment in a super family-friendly co-ownership (with a big garden for everybody, a shared grill-place and little individual gardens on the roof. Situated in the north of the district Prenzlauer Berg, the situation is a bit apart from noise and city-excitement, but still rather central. The very nearby (150 m) tramway makes it easy to reach every point you won't in this wonderful, colorful and very moving city (perhaps the most vibrating capital city in Europe actually). Just one recommendation which you perhaps won't find in the city-guides: take 1 or 2 hours to visit (yes, visit !) the embassy of the Scandinavian countries. Take your kids with you (or the kid you still are…) and enjoy the surprises. Astonishing ! We also made a car-exchange with Katrin and Bernd, so we had no taxi-fees to pay from the airport (the car waited there for us) and could visit some places outside Berlin. Last but not least: as we expected, Katrin and Bernd treated our house as we treated theirs - with respect and precaution.”
