About our home

We offer a large and beautiful apartment in the centre of Berlin, 50m distance to kurfürstendamm. We have one bedroom with a double bed. There are two living rooms, and a large kitchen where all the family can eat. It's a very big apartment and a typical Berliner apartment, with wooden floor, central heating, and decorations on the top floor. We have a part time maid.

More about us

We are Roswitha and Matthias, a unmarried couple with together 4 children who are living alone. Roswitha is designing and selling furnitures in the style of "Bauhaus". Matthias is a retired professor from university (Soziology, Economy) and enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the UK.

Situated in a picturesque area on the beautiful part of Berlin, with shopping streets around, and only 50 m far from the famous Kurfürstendamm and very good public transport. Many artists live around, It is one of the most typical "quartiers" of Berlin, built at 1913. Nice restaurants with international cuisines, Cafes.
