About our home

We offer you a beautiful and large (110m2) apartment in the heart of Berlin.
Although the flat lies in a very lively area, it is a quiet and restful, because it is in the top floor (5th floor - without elevator).
It is a bright and welcoming home with wooden floors and high ceilings. There are a large dining and living room, connected by a double wing door. The kitchen is fully equipped and in the dining room there is a long unique table on which can eat up to 10 people.
The living room has a large, comfortable sofa, the bedroom a queen-sized waterbed (2m by 2m). There are two bathrooms, each with bathtube and toilet. A shower and washing machine is in the bigger one.
The study is a big room, sparsely furnished, with much space for you clothes or additional sleeps.
Our big balcony faces Southwest and catches the midday and evening sun.

We do not smoke and ask our guests to keep this place smoke-free, too.

More about us

  1. We are a young couple - Simon (33) and Ulrike (27) - and like the idea of sharing homes, because both parties get a closer look to the holiday place and live in a cosy home with everything you need for everyday life. So your holidays get much comfortable and besides you save a lot of money.

In autumn we want to stay 2 weeks in Cuba and therefore we are looking for a nice accommodation in Havanna and its surroundings.
Beyond that we like traveling at all, exploring new countries or doing short trips.

If you are interested to visit Berlin or to offer your home for an exchange, do not hesitate write us!

Where is it?

Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most popular districts in Berlin, still central, yet quieter than Berlin Mitte. It is located in northeast Berlin - very closed and well connected to the centre of the city (public transport).

Prenzlauer Berg is a historic building area, where over 300 buildings remain protected as historic monuments.
And the district is a focal point of the Berlin art scene and offers trendy shopping with many street style fashion designers and boutiques.
The central area is characterized by restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. The typical Berlin cuisine concentrates especially on the main street "Kastanienallee" and around the "Kollwitzplatz" and "Helmholtzplatz".
"Kollwitzplatz" is within walking distance and have weekly street markets. The former breweries "Kulturbrauerei" and "Pfefferberg" and the" Kastanienallee" are the hot spots of interest, which are nearby, too.

=> an all around nice neighbourhood
=> ideally situated for exploring Berlin and its cultural life
