About our home

We live in a spacious roof-top apartment in Kreuzberg, a trendy district of Berlin City. Our apartment has one bedroom with a king bed and another room with a single bed. We have two big terraces from which you have a great view over Berlin - and of course you can smoke there. We live in the 5th floor. Since the house is historic, we do not have an elevator.
Our apartment is very cozy and bright.

More about us

  1. We are a couple aged 33 and 38. Busti works as a sound recordist and sound designer for the movies. Meike works for the oldest and largest environmental association in Germany called NABU (NATURE AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION UNION). She is responsible for the environmental education for kids up to 12.
This year Meike takes three months off from work to travel around the world. Since she has spent one year in NYC in 1996, she would like to show Busti the nicest city on earth and visit her host family.

We love doing sports, being outside, reading, movies and listening to music.

Neighbourhood

Our apartment is close to main attractions of the city such as the Brandenburger Tor. The transportation connection is very good: buses and subways are leaving close to our apartment. In our neighborhood you find many restaurants, cafes, fleamarkets, art galleries and shops as well as a popular parc and a river, with a nice footpath.
Just nearby there is an closed airport, which is now used as a huge parc, where you can do rollerblading, jogging, biking, kiting...
