About our home

It is a very cozy, light apartment on the 3rd floor in a backhouse. The living room has a French balkony and the kitchen has space enough to invite friends to cook...
In the wintertime you have to heat the room with a cole oven, which gives you the most comfortable warmness. In the kitchen and shower you can also use the electronic heater. You can use the DSL internet accses, but have to bring your own notebook. I´v got lots of Vinyl to listen to and books to read in. Also a TV with 30 programms to receive...

Where is it?

It is in the middle of the szene district Berlin-Friedrichshain, which is famous for clubbing and a district with excellent public transport facilities from the S-Bahn-station ‘Ostkreuz’. From there, you can catch the Ringbahn (the circular line), which takes you to lots of destinations around the city. And if the weather’s nice, you could always explore Berlin by water: it’s just five minutes walk to the River Spree from where you can catch a boat. If you want to go sightseeing by bike, these are always available for you to borrow at the nearby "1stfloorhostel". And don’t forget to visit the nearby districts of ‘Kreuzberg’ and ‘Prenzlauer Berg’ – they are an absolute must!
