Hi, we are a family relocating to Edinburgh until the end of June 2020 and are looking for an apartment in Edinburgh to temporarily swap against our 2-bedroom in Berlin for the whole or some of this period. We are looking preferably at Trinity and Leith and the surrounding areas.
The apartment in Berlin is our family home, so it is not a holiday rent-out place. The house itself is a typical Berlin old building with high ceilings, bright and airy, newly renovated with all modern conveniences. There is an elevator.
The apartment is perfectly suited for a family or a couple. There is one large bright room and two smaller rooms. Each room has a high bed (one double, the two others - a single each). There is also a semi-high bed in the large family room for a younger child. There are 3 desks.
The apartment is fully furnished (washing machine, dishes, cutlery, pots, towels, bed linen etc.) and there is dsl and wi-fi. We'll leave all our things in the apartment but will make some space in the wardrobes for you.
The area is central, very lively and popular, the Ostkreuz s-bahn station is 2 minutes away, there is a childrens' playground round the corner, bakeries, cafes and supermarkets. A short walk away is the Spree river and the huge Treptow park. The street itself is a sort of a cul-de-sac so there is no major traffic. It is green and very comfortable.
Right next to Ostkreuz so very easy to get around (also easy getting from/to the airports and train stations).
