About our home

The Building of our apartment was built in 1913 and has still some original details like stucco, gullwing doors or old door handles. We like modern art and design, so you will find an interesting mixture of new and old. As Architect my husband Tomo likes to play with light and was very creative in decorating our apartment with many indirect light sources. We have living and a dining room, a kitchen, bathroom, a balcony and two bedrooms (one for two kids and one for a couple). We live in the 4th floor with an elevator.
As you will see, we have put a lot of personal thoughts and love in decorating our apartment.
We can only offer simultaneous exchanges in the following times, where we have already booked flights to the following spots:
29.3.-3.4.2018 Italy, Largo di Garda
7.-29.7.2018, Malaysia
29.9.-6.10.2018 New York, Manhattan

More about us

  1. My husband Tomo, my daughter Nuria (14) and me are born in Berlin. We love Berlin because it's an ever changing city with a lot to discover and many contrasts. There is always something new to explore.

We are both professionals (architect and communication manager) and enjoy travelling when able to get away. We especially like to travel in Asia and get to now different cultures or to other European capitals to find out interesting places for art, design and architecture.

While travelling we like to use Tripadvisor or Airbnb to organize our trips. We like to stay in a personal environment rather than a hotel and like ideas, where people share something with others, that's why we also like the idea of Home Exchange.
Our next exchange destination will be NYC from september 29th to october 7th, where only the two of us will go to.
