About our home

My apartment is a large, spacious, light-filled oasis in the bustling Friedrichshain neighborhood. Despite the lively location, once inside, you'll feel like you're a thousand miles away from the city thanks to a spacious courtyard that blocks out most of the noise. It's on the 4th floor (top) of an Altbau (old building) but was recently renovated combining both the beautiful old features of a typical 20th-century German building with a modern Nordic-style refresh.

You're also two hops away from almost everything in Berlin thanks to the fantastic public transportation options at Warshauer (Ubahn, Sbahn, tram, bus)

Neighbourhood

Boxhagener Platz or Boxi, appropriated by true Berliners, is a colorful pocket of Friedrichshain. These artisan soaked streets are littered with cool cafés, antique theaters, markets, and a lively square that hosts a large outdoor market every Sunday.

Friedrichshain is home to techno clubs like Berghain. Political murals cover the East Side Gallery, a preserved section of the Berlin Wall, and the area is replete with Indie boutiques, restaurants, bars, parks, beer gardens, and other hidden wonders.
