About our home

Our place is a wonderful situated typical berlinese 3-room apartment (80 sqm) with high ceilings and wooden floors in a 19th century building next to the Friedrichshain Park inhabited by me and my two daughters (9 and 15 years old). We love to travel and constantly discover new places. As we are experienced and frequent sailors we love the sea but we are open to all kinds of destinations.

The interior is a cosy, colorful mix match of design, second hand pieces and my childrens craft.
It´s fully equipped with WIFI, washing machine, bathtub, dish washer, large fridge/freezer, hair dryer, gas stove, oven, towels and bed clothes.

I speak german, english and a bit of french. I can supply you with many tips and help you with your trip planing for your exciting stay in this vibrant and sleepless city.

My place is only a 5 minutes walk to fancy Prenzlauer Berg or a short ride with the nearby Bus or Tram to Alexander Platz and Mitte.

The neighbourhood Prenzlauer Berg with its Bötzow- and Winsviertel serves you with all you need: lots of cafés, restaurants, organic shops, weekly markets, designer stores, children playgrounds and even a very good cinema. The Friedrichshain Park is a wonderful green oasis right across the street. Great if you bring your children, love running and other outdoor sports or just for chilling or having a barbecue.

Most of the exiting spots in Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte are in walking distance. If you want to get further you have a Tram and Bus connection only a few steps away. Alexander Platz or Mitte is only 2 Tram stations away. Or just rent a bicycle. That´s probably the best way to discover Berlin.

Tram: M4 Am Friedrichshain
Bus: 142 which takes you to Ostbahnhof or Hauptbahnhof (Stop is in front of the house)
Bicycle: There are close bicycle shops for all your rental needs.
