“We had a wonderful stay in Allison's apartment in East Berlin. We loved the area with some great cafes and places to eat in roads nearby as well as the buzzy area of Boxhagener Platz with cool vintage shops, every cuisine restaurant imaginable etc. Their flat is cosy and modern with the most comfortable beds! Great shower and spacious bathroom as well. All in all a great place to stay from location to the apartment itself. it was our first time in Berlin and we loved every minute of our time there. Thanks Allison for a great stay in your home. ”

About our home
Instantly feel welcome home at your cosy and stylish 85 sqm apartment in the heart of Berlin Friedrichshain.
The wide Scandinavian style living room will help you relax and unwind from last night party or after a long day out exploring this amazing city.
Pour yourself a glass of wine, turn on the Bluetooth speakers, and enjoy over 200 books from the library next to the fireplace in case you just feel like staying home under the blanket. And don’t worry we’ve got you covered with an almost unlimited wood supply. Or if you prefer, turn on the high definition video projector for a nice popcorn movie night.
The big diner table will comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, while you are cooking an amazing dish from the open kitchen. It is fully equipped with a large fridge, oven, milk foamer, toaster, kettle and cold press juicer, and of course a dishwasher to help you in your quest. And if you feel groovy, try out the piano ;) there is even a music school in front of the building.
The charm of this flat also comes from the high-quality wooden oak parquet, cut and assembled by the previous owner, who happened to own the forest it came from.
Relax, light a few candles and take a bath. You’ll also find a shower in the bathroom if you are in a hurry. We will provide you with clean and soft towels and everything you need from soap to shampoo and conditioner.
Time to go to bed? Experience a wonderful deep night of sleep from your amazing king-size double bed (180x200) with an additional mattress topper in the main bedroom. The street and building are very quiet too. In addition, we have a second bedroom with an additional two single beds (190cm) that can be merged into one.
The large windows also bring in lots of light throughout the year, and in the morning, you can start the day by going to the coffee place behind your new home. It’s delicious and they speak English very well.
Berlin is a big capital, but you can get anywhere quickly from this flat. Get to Friedrichshain, Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg in no time. The tube is a 5 min walk, and the bus and tramway are just 50 meters away. The heart of Friedrichshain with all the great bars and restaurants is just a 15 minutes walk from here.
Grocery shopping is also easy and you will find 2 supermarkets within a 2-minute walk. But we recommend the Gorillas app: any grocery shopping delivered within 10 minutes.
To offer you the best experience possible, we are available on the phone or Whatsapp as a concierge service. Need a diner place or any advice? We are here to help! No hotel can provide you with this level of service and peace of mind. And if you request it for a long stay, our personal cleaner will come weekly.
The city of freedom.
Berlin is quickly gaining a reputation as a culinary hotspot in Europe. From authentic German meals to international street food to abundant vegan options, Berlin is a paradise for any foodie.
Berlin might be a modern city, but it has plenty of history, too. The obvious can’t-miss is a trip to the Berlin Wall. The East Side Gallery is the longest remaining section, now filled with graffiti murals. And with over 180 museums, you might need to get a few trips to Berlin planned just for the museums alone!
Berlin is an urban city, but it’s not all grey. From its sustainability initiatives to a rising focus on green fashion and vegan and organic food to the dozens of green spaces, parks and waterways throughout the city, Berlin is a great place to go green.
Party on! Everyone knows it’s a good time in Germany, but Berlin has made it easy to have a really good time. Unlike many other German cities, there’s no official closing time. Party ‘til the sun comes up and then grab a big breakfast at one of Berlin’s brunch spots.

Allison's reviews
As a host (2)“My boyfriend and I went to Allison's house during our winter holidays and it simply was wonderful! The appartement is close to the tram that brings you to the metro (U bahn) or around the city and is very well located in a cute neighbourhood. Berlin is big so I'd recommend taking a look around Friedrichshain by foot if you're staying at Allison's place. It has tons of cute cafes, brunch places, funny stores and pretty streets to look at. The flat is very well decorated and cosy, very tidy and clean. The gigantic bathtub was fantastic!!! I wouldn't necessarily plan big cooking sessions in the kitchen with many people as it was pretty minimalist (glasses, plates etc), but it wasn't a problem for us as we only had two guests over. The communication with Allison was clear and very friendly :) Thank you Allison for the nice trip!! All in all, would totally recommend ! :)”

Neighbourhood
We are in the center of Berlin (formerly East Berlin), 30 min away by foot from the East Side Gallery. You can enjoy a 10 min walk to the Volkspark Friedrichshain, the 4th largest park in Berlin. You can also easily choose between a 20 min walk to Boxhagener Platz with plenty of bars and restaurants, and a 20 min ride on the tram to Prenzlauer Berg for a boozy brunch on the weekends.
