About our home
We live in a huge (120 sq m), family-friendly apartment in the middle of trendy Kreuzberg (Bergmannkiez). Our third floor flat has three bedrooms and a spacey living room, a cosy kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub/shower.
The living room and one potential bedroom (currently our guest room and place for the kids to play) are facing the street, the other two bedrooms are located in the back of the house providing a very quiet place for sleeping. Our master bedroom leads into the other bedroom that we currently use as a nursery (it has space for two children to sleep in). We have all necessary facilities and toys for small children (a baby under 1 and a toddler about three years) including but not limited to baby beds / cots, baby bath, napping changing table, high chairs, baby bouncer, etc.
We have a Dutch bike with a big wooden box (Backfiets) that can hold two children and that you are free to use. This is alot of fun to use in and around all the great parks that Berlin has to offer, with both Tempelhofer Feld and Gleisdreieck park 5-10mins walk away.
The Bergmannkiez is a very family-friendly part of Kreuzberg with lots of playgrounds, parks and nice restaurants and the ideal location for exploring Berlin in summer.
