This is a beautiful large room in the historical Russian buildings of Karl-Marx-Allee Berlin. The flat is being shared with a great housemate who is into fashion, arts and design. The view is exceptional and you will be located super central. Groceries, subway stations, art galleries, gyms; everything is reachable within minutes. I use the room as living space and art studio, it's sunny and very spacious. Since I am a photographer I travel a l lot and often don't use the apartment myself. We have some house rules and find important to keep the place beautiful, tidy and peaceful and are just as much very relaxed and open for interesting lovely new people. You are allowed to smoke on the French balcony or in the kitchen. In our pretty bathroom with 3 channel light system you can take long baths and chill out after your adventures in Berlin. The double bed is soft and cosy with plenty of pillows and sheets. You can lay down in candle light and enjoy the city view from your bed with a glass of wine!

The neighbourhood is rather quiet. It's a mixture of artists, elderly people and families. A calm spot right in the middle of everything. In front of the house is the beautiful Karl-Marx-Allee which can at peak times get busy with traffic. You'll always hear the calming sound of water of the prestigious fountain in front of the window (off at night and during winter months). Right across the street is the subway station (U5) which connects you to all lines. If you want it really busy everything is within walking minutes; the beautiful cinema Kino international, bars, restaurants, grocery stores and boutiques as well as a huge shopping centre (10 minutes walk). The park will give you some green time out when needed. On weekends you will find plenty of flea markets with vintage fashion, good food and street music too.
