About our home

Our stunning home was built in 1984 for the International Exhibition of Architecture held in Berlin (West) at the time. It is a 70 m² apartment on the 3rd floor consisting of bedroom, living room, winter garden, kitchen, bathroom and a small balcony. Thanks to its big windows it's full of light even in winter. Bedroom, bathroom and balcony offer you a great view on the Berlin TV Tower. Our apartment is equipped for kids and there is a big, shared garden in the yard, including a pingpong table and a small playground. Most of our neighbours are young families and elderly people, so despite the central location it's a really quiet environment. Nevertheless, if you like to party, there's the famous rave club just down the road. And there's more clubs, bars and restaurants about a 10 minute walk away.

As to tourism, the place is just perfect: Situated right at the former border between what used to be East and West Berlin, it's only about 300 metres to Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall Museum, the Jewish Museum and the Berlin Gallery. Walk down the famous Friedrichstrasse to get to the Brandenburg Gate and other sights. Potsdamer Platz and Alexanderplatz are also just a 20 minute walk away, but of course you can also get there easily by public transport - our apartment is located between 3 metro stations and 2 bus stops, which makes it easy for you to discover other parts of the city.
