Modern flat in fantastic area

Our fantastic well-insulated flat (so it's cool in summer and warm in winter) was built in 2016 and is situated on a little peninsula that juts into the river Spree in Berlin. It is super peaceful, and surrounded by lush parks, beer gardens and by a river on one side and a lake on the other. It would be a great place to come back and relax in after a day of sightseeing in the city.If you feel like exploring the area, you can also hire boats or kayaks nearby to paddle around. We also have a little inflatable boat you can take out on the water if you want.

However, if bars, restaurants and/or clubs are more your thing, one of the most trendy/arty areas of Berlin (Friedrichshain) is only around 10 minutes on the bikes (which you would be welcome to use) and we have buses that leave almost directly outside our apartment. It is about 20-25 minutes to bike into the centre of Berlin. There is a supermarket just up the road (around 5 minutes on the bike).

We have an outdoor area with a paved patio/grass and and a BBQ, We also have a paddling pool, if you're here in summer and have kids. The kitchen/dining room and living room is open plan which is different than many other Berlin flats. This is a great place for a family to come - we have young kids (2 and 5), so there are plenty of toys for other kids of the same age to play with, and the place is pretty well baby proofed. But it is also a good place to come to without kids as there is so much nightlife going on - this is Berlin after all! Cleaning fee: 60 euros.
