About our home

Our apartment is a classic "Berliner Altbau" on the 2nd floor with a balcony, wooden floor and 3 meter high ceilings. It is located in a quiet street not far from the buzz of Friedrichshain. It was completely renewed in March 2018 and comes with a living room where you can also dine, a relaxing bedroom, a bathroom with a bath tub and a small but cosy kitchen with anything you need for cooking (incl. a mixer and a rice cooker).

Located near the famous Simon-Dach-Kiez, you can enjoy everything Berlin has to offer within walking distance: from cosy cafés, hip stores to delicious restaurants. However, the flat is located in a quiet street so you can have some quiet time. Tram, S-Bahn and Subway are within walking distance (3-10 mins away, depending on which transport you take) and you are free to use our bicycles while you're here.

Where is it?

Friedrichshain is the youngest of all Berlin districts and one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods. You will see artists, young professionals as well as young parents everywhere. Within a 2 min. walk you can take a tram, within 8 min. the subway and within 12 min. the S-Bahn to other cool districs such as Neukölln, Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg. 10 minutes by train to Alexanderplatz and 15 minutes to the central station - it wont get better than that!

We have plenty of little owner-based shops and bars all within a 2-3 minute walk. There is a local farmers market for fresh veggies, cheese, fish etc on Saturdays and a flea market on Sundays right around the corner. There is also plenty of sports opportunities such as a swimming hall, climbing hall and sport clubs around.
