About our home

My apartment (50 m2) consists of two bedrooms, kitchen (equipped with dishwasher, freezer, fridge, toast oven, kitchen-aid, Bosch food processor, stove and oven ...) and bathroom with washing machine. The main room goes to the front and the other room goes to the back yard with wonderful old giant chestnut tree. There is also an air bed available.

The apartment is located in one of Berlin’s hippest areas: “Kreuzkölln”. It lies on the border between Kreuzberg and Neukölln. Behind my house there is a canal that separates the two borrows. You can cruise it by boat … so if you like bring your own rubber boat or kayak or take a tour with one of the many organizers. As soon as the sun comes out the place is swarming with people from all over Europe.

In recent years there has been a rapid increase in restaurants, cafés, shops and galleries in my neighborhood. 50 meters from my flat is a bus stop. Three busses take you to the next underground station (U7 – Hermannplatz). If you choose to take the bus in the opposite direction one takes you to e.g. Treptower Park (, another one to the airport Schönefeld and a double-decker (M29) takes you to many of the most important sights and museums in Berlin.

Where is it?

Directly opposite my flat is a store where you get everything you need for your daily supplies. Two other stores (Aldi, Lidl) are a three minutes walk from my place.
The neighborhood is international: In Neukölln you find people from about 170 nations which makes the area one of the most interesting areas of Berlin.
