Welcome to my cozy home in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, right at the doorstep of the Berlin Wall and all the trendy offers of the leafy and pretty neighbourhood. This is my primary residence and where I call home. My flat is on the 3rd floor of an "altbau", a typical, high-ceilinged, beatiful stair-cased early-century Berlin architecture. The balcony where the sun sets at 9-10pm in the summer is where I unwind in the evening. With few minutes to a major underground and overground rail station, it is well-connected to all parts of Berlin.

Grown up in Istanbul, after a 13-year stint in London, I moved to Berlin, a city I've loved for long and always dreamed about living in one day
I'm passionate about writing, architecture, maps and tennis!
Welcome to Prenzlauer Berg, Gleimviertel - area in Berlin that has seen massive change in the 1990s and 2000s as the Berlin Wall came down and the former East Berlin. deprived neighbourhood saw a rapid influx of artists, students and squatters who have transformed it into the area it is now: a mix of established cultural institutions, abundance of trendy cafes, bars, restaurants and yoga studios surrounded by famous, high-ceilinged beatiful "altbau" buildings and many parks. On a Sunday afternoon, Mauerpark (close to my home) is probably the most diverse place you'll find in Berlin (if not in the world)!
