Our cozy house is situated in a green, calm historic preservationed neighbourhood. It is a 10 min ride by bike to the lakes Krumme Lanke and Schlachtensee and just a 5 min walk from the subway station Onkel-Toms-Hütte. Our house was built in 1929 by Swiss Architect Otto Salvisberg as part of the "Bruno Taut Siedlung" (or the so called "Papageiensiedlung") - it is one of the Berlin Modernism House Estates of the 20ies and 30ies.
To downtown west it takes only a 20 min ride by subway, to downtown east 30 min. We love living here because it serves both - living in a city with all its cultural offers AND to live in a green, calm area.
We are a couple with three kids (7 and 16 years old). Only two are still traveling with us.
We love city trips as much as going to the seaside.
We always treat others homes like we expect others to treat ours.
