“We spent six great days in Birkenau, in the house of Vera, Wolle and the girls during the Christams-holidays. Vera really made us feel at home. We were given plenty of information. And whatever questions we had Vera helped us right away. Very friendly! They have a really comfortable house in Birkenau. The house is clean and we were surprised by the size of it. We did not expect that! It is cozy and fully equipped. Our kids loved the playroom and all the toys. The village Birkenau is pretty small, but there is a park and enough facilities in the village. Heidelberg is only 30 minutes away. It is a beautiful city. And we loved the castle! We found out this is the perfect location with kids. We already had four lovely experiences with homeswopping, but this was the best home swop we had up till now. Thanks to the warm contact we had with Vera during our stay.
