“Their apartment is comfortable, in a good area of the city, with bars and restaurants around. It is near to the center, walking and crossing the river. We were in a picturesque market around the river. Matt and Lou are very nice and was easy everything with them. We shared the same idea of how to take care of someone’s apartment.”

“Their apartment is beautiful. We really felt very good. The area is very well, with bars and restaurants around. The location is quiet and open. The communication with Matt and Lou was easy and really nice. We shared the same idea of how to take care of someone’s apartment.”
“Matt, Mary-Lou and their young daughter Lucy stayed in our Cromwell home for a week and looked after it very well. We also stayed in their apartment in Dresden, Germany. The apartment was very comfortable, quiet, well maintained and situated ideally in the heart of the restaurant district. They are a lovely family and we would happily exchange with them again if the opportunity arose.”
“We spent a few days in Matt and Mary-Lou's lovely home, conveniently only a few tram stops from the centre of Dresden where there is so much of interest, from museums, churches, galleries, gardens and fountains, to the delights of cruises on the river Elbe. A day's sail to the lovely old town of Meissen is a must. We can thoroughly recommend this exchange. John & Marie”
“If you are into high quality of galleries and museums, good food and vine bars, bicycling along the river Elbe, walk in the hills, exploring the vineyards of Saxony, Dresden has it all. We loved the area of Neustadt and the house with the nice terraces where we enjoyed our meals and coffee/wine. Our host were very easy to communicate with, the had bikes for all of us and a lot of information that made our stay perfect, and we had nice dinner together with all their lovely children. This was absolutely a superb stay, and we can give our host and children our warmest recommendations. The family of 5 from Denmark ”
Where is it?
Dresden is the baroque capital of Europe and home to many museums and galleries, as well as a thriving art, classical music and theatre scene. The Opera House and music venues provide concerts ranging in style from Mozert to Moby. we have good connections to the Opera house and can therefore arrange concert tickets at short notice. The apartment is located in the arts quarter of the city and home to hundreds of bar and restaurants. For those looking to get away from the bustle of the city, our apartment is also a 2 minute walk from a large woodland area, called the Dresden Heide or a 30 minute drive from Saxony Switzerland: The birthplace of rock climbing. Our apartment is located close to a tram line running into the city centre (10mins by bike- 20mins on foot), and the train station with direct links to Berlin, Leipzig, Prague, Munich and even Paris. In the city centre, The Church of our Lady, UFA Cinema, Zwinger and the newly finished military museum are some of the world's most important architectural landmarks. Dresden's location close to the border of the Czech Republic and Poland makes it a perfect base for exploring Eastern or Western Europe.
